Recopies

Leave them both on 0 if you don’t want any recopies and you’re operating on that one. If there are no recopies, then there is still you’re original. If you want recopies simply change that number of total recopies. A recopy is for some effects that take more than 1 line to complete. It will ‘recopy’ the lines the number of times you select. The current recopy represents which one that you’re currently working on.

Total Number of Timed Effects

The total number of timed effects is how many {\t()} effects you want to use for that line.

Current Timed Effect

The current timed effect is the effect one that you’re currently working on. This spinner controls both the main and alternative timed effects. Changing it will save all the data that you’ve entered and changing it back will put that data back into the fields.

Times of Timed Effects

This are multipliers, that’s the only thing I can think of calling them. These values are ALWAYS numbers from 0 - 2000. 0 being when the syllable starts, and 2000 being when it ends. These values must be integers (whole numbers).

For the more technical, here is the equation that the program uses to generate the times.
((finish - start) / 2) * ( [your input] / 1000) + start

Acceleration

Acceleration can be a decimal value, and that’s the straight value that goes into the effect. 1 is the default value and is already in the field.

Alternative Timed Effect

If you choose to activate the alternate timed effect. Then this line first effect of the line will be the main effect and it will alternate until the end of the line with the alternate effect.

All of the rules explained above are the same with the alternate effect.

Main Effect and Alternate Effect Fields

Which effect one you’re editting is controlled by the current timed effect. If you are alternating timed effects and you have more of one than the other it is ok to leave some blank. I try to make the program check everything that could be invalid before it begins processing.

When you enter your effect don’t put any extra parenthesis just the straight effect like : \fs27 < --stuff like that

Trailing Effect

The trailing effect works the same way, only with 1 time, you’re entering the number of milliseconds from the end of the syllable that you want your effect to go afterwards. So, if you put in 1000 it’ll go 1 second after the syllable. For every syllable in the line. This does not differentiate between Main and Alternative effects, and will be after every effect for the entire line.

{\r} Effect

The program puts {\r} after every effect regardless of whether this option is on or not (if you want an option so it doesn’t, let me know… easy to add). The option is if you want an effect to be after each {\r}. Just put the effect that you want in the field, and it will add it after each {\r}.

Other simple things

file->open to open your file
file->save to save it after you click the process button. Make sure you save it…
